NAUGHTY OR NICE HOT CHOCOLATES

This French Vanilla Hot Chocolate recipe is sinfully simple and luxuriously rich and creamy.  Brewed in no time flat, you’ll never gaze at pre-packaged Swiss Miss hot chocolate again!

FRENCHIE VANILLA HOT CHOCOLATE
Prepared in 5 minutes or less.

Ingredients

  • 2  cups whole milk
  • 2 Tbs Hershey’s Special Dark Cocoa, unsweetened
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 3 Tbs French Vanilla creamer
  • 1 tsp French Vanilla Syrup, ( I like Flavorganics)
  • Chocolate dipped marshmallows for garnish and whipped cream

Preparation

Pour 1 cup each of whole milk into 2 mugs.  Warm them up to your preferred heat temperature in a microwave for 2 to 3 minutes. Add special dark cocoa and sugar.  Mix well.  Stir in French Vanilla Creamer and Vanilla Syrup.  Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate dipped marshmallows.  Serves 2.

NAUGHTY HOT CHOCOLATE
Prepared in 5 minutes or less.

Ingredients

  • 3/4  cup whipping cream
  • 6 Tbs sugar
  • 6 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 1/2 cups milk (whole milk preferred)
  • 12 Tbs coffee liqueur
  • 12 Tbs Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur)
  • Whipped cream and grated semisweet chocolate for garnish

Preparation

Combine sugar, cocoa powder, and salt in saucepan. Add water slowly while whisking, to ensure smooth mixture.

Gently simmer over medium-low heat, whisking constantly. Simmer 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk and return to simmer.

Divide hot chocolate among warmed mugs. Divide 2 tablespoons of each liqueur into each mug. Top each with whipped cream and garnish with grated chocolate.  Serves 4.
